Conservationist Anna Merz Keynote Speaker at Fall Fundraiser

CHICAGO, IL - The Black Rhino Foundation, Inc. (BRF), a not-for-profit wildlife organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the endangered black rhino, announces Anna Merz, founder of Ngare Sergoi Rhino Sanctuary, Kenya, will be the keynote speaker at our Fall fundraiser, September 25.

The benefit, to be held at the Kenilworth Club, Kenilworth, IL at 6:00pm is a cocktail reception highlighting conservationist Anna Merz who has devoted her life to rhino to the preservation of the endangered black rhino species. Her presentation will include video, footage of rhinos at the sanctuary and audio recordings of rhino sounds and breathing patterns.

Fewer than 11,000 rhinos of all species are left in the world. The black rhino population has plummeted precipitously - to 2,300 in 1995 from 65,000 in 1970.

Tickets for the benefit are $100 a person; call 847.501.4527. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Ngare Sergoi Rhino Sanctuary.

The BRF is committed to the preservation and protection of the African black rhino in the wild.
